2019 Community Spirit Award

Wheeler’s Students Involved in Cultural Awareness (SICA) group awarded the 2019 Wheeler Community Spirit Award to Providence-born performer and philanthropist Jeffrey Osborne. Founder of The Jeffrey Osborne Foundation and the Jeffrey Osborne Celebrity Classic, which have collectively raised over a million dollars given to various charities in Rhode Island, Osborne is also a successful musician as a member of L.T.D and as a solo artist.

Hundreds attended this free, family event (all students and their families were welcome) as we honored Jeffrey Osborne.
